- Promotion of Japan as an Asian Business Center
By attracting foreign companies and capital to Japan, there will be the chance of an inflow of superior technologies and new expertise, and the creation of innovation and high-value-added accumulated technologies will be promoted. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) is now taking a variety of measures to promote making Japan an Asian Business Center.

Invest Japan Office: One-stop service for foreign companies and investors
METI has established the “Invest Japan Office” in the Regional Bureaus of METI throughout Japan and the Department of Economy, Trade and Industry of the Okinawa General Bureau, to support foreign companies and investors who are interested in local investment by providing necessary information.
