“I just had a telephone conversation with　Ambassador Susan Schwab, US Trade Representative. With regard to WTO Doha Round negotiation, I briefed her on my bilateral talks with other Trade Ministers and WTO Director General Pascal Lamy. In addition, we discussed next steps in the Round and our common desire to achieve a successful conclusion to the negotiations.”
