Promoting the Plant Factory to enterprises and consumers inside and outside Japan

B to B Promotion

a photo of the plant factoryMETI exhibited the Plant Factory at FOODEX JAPAN, the biggest international food and beverage exhibition in Asia, which attracted as many as 70,000 visitors. While this exhibition was a B to B event of the food and beverage industries, it also gathered many overseas buyers, which triggered the beginning of business negotiations on exporting Plant Factories not only among Japanese companies but also between Japanese companies and overseas companies from Asian, Middle Eastern, and Western countries.

B to C Promotion

a photo of the plant factoryMETI exhibited the Plant Factory at the Farming Frontier, the biggest agricultural event in Japan, which was held by METI in Tokyo in 2012 and attracted as many as 43,000 consumers from Japan and overseas countries. Some visitors made remarks as follows after visiting the factory: "I was impressed by the Japanese technology being used to support agriculture in the areas devastated by the Great East Japan Earthquake" or "I saw the potential of Japanese agriculture."
