Necessary expenses to secure energy supply in areas affected by Tohoku-Pacific Ocean Earthquake in 2011
The Japanese government has decided to disburse necessary expenses to secure energy supply from the FY 2010 budget reserve in areas affected by the Tohoku-Pacific Ocean Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011.
Necessary expenses to secure energy supply in areas affected by the Tohoku-Pacific Ocean Earthquake amount to approximately 1.7 billion JPY
(Reference) In affected areas where there are fuel shortages including shortages of gasoline, the following budgetary measures are taken.
(1) Expenses for the purchase of tanker trucks to supply fuel in affected areas where normal distribution is difficult
(2) Expenses for the establishment of drum based simple fueling sites for temporary fuel supply in affected areas
