Status of Temporary Fueling Sites and Establishment of New Sites

Today, in Kamaishi City, Iwate, temporary fueling sites provided fuel to 296 vehicles for people affected by the disaster, a total of 819 vehicles over two days.
Fuel was provided to 22 police vehicles and fire engines, in Minamisanriku Town, to 10 in Onagawa Town, to 10 in Higashimatsushima City of Miyagi, and to 11 in Shinchi Town, Fukushima. Refueling will be continuously implemented in each municipality after tomorrow.
- Temporary fueling sites were established and provided fuel to a total of 2,800 vehicles over five days (from March 27 to 31), in seven municipalities.
- In response to requests by local government authorities, beginning April 1, temporary fueling sites will be established and provide fuel in two additional municipalities. (Municipalities and vehicles eligible for fuel supply are listed below.)
