Status of Temporary Fueling Sites and Establishment of New Sites

Fuel was provided in the following municipalities on April 3.
(1) Otsuchi Town, Iwate: 319 vehicles for people affected by the earthquake
(2) Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi: 15 police vehicles/fire engines and vehicles for volunteer workers
(3) Onagawa Town, Miyagi: 4 police vehicles/fire engines
(4) Iitate Village, Fukushima: 1 police vehicle/fire engine
(5) Shinchi Town, Fukushima: 8 police vehicles/fire engines
(Note) Refueling will be continuously implemented from tomorrow in (1), (2) (3), and (4) of the above mentioned municipalities.

Temporary fueling sites were established and provided fuel to a total of 4,500 vehicles over 8 days (from March 27 to April 3), in 9 municipalities*.
*Iwate Prefecture: Kamaishi City, Rikuzentakata City and Otsuchi Town
Miyagi Prefecture: Ishinomaki City, Higashimatsushima City, Onagawa Town and Minamisanriku Town
Fukushima Prefecture: Shinchi Town and Iitate Village
