1. Fuel was provided in the following municipalities on April 4.

   (1) Otsuchi Town, Iwate: 472 vehicles for people affected by the earthquake

   (2) Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi: 23 police vehicles/fire engines and vehicles for private volunteer workers

   (3) Onagawa Town, Miyagi: 10 police vehicles/fire engines

   (4) Iitate Village, Fukushima: 1 police vehicle/fire engine

   (Note) Refueling will be continuously implemented from tomorrow in the above mentioned municipalities.

2. Temporary fueling sites were established and provided fuel to a total of 5,000 vehicles over 9 days (from March 27 to April 4), in 9 municipalities*.

   *Iwate Prefecture: Kamaishi City, Rikuzentakata City and Otsuchi Town
   Miyagi Prefecture: Ishinomaki City, Higashimatsushima City, Onagawa Town and Minamisanriku Town
   Fukushima Prefecture: Shinchi Town and Iitate Village
