The “Act on Special Fiscal Aid and Subsidy for Recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake” (the “Act”) and the “FY 2011 first supplementary budget” have both been approved. Contents of new financing assistance measures for Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake have been decided, and the commencement date of consultation services and organizations released.
- The following enhanced financing assistance measures have been established, in addition to the existing ones, for SMEs damaged directly or indirectly by the Great East Japan Earthquake (as previously notified in our April 28 press release).
Today, the Act and the first supplementary budget have been approved and official implementation of these assistance measures has started. - Consultation on lending and credit guarantees will start from May 16 (Mon), and programs implemented from May 23 (Mon).
