The Fifth Joint Study for an FTA among China, Japan, and Korea

The fifth joint study meeting on a free trade agreement (FTA) among China, Japan, and Korea will be held from June 27 to 28 in Kitakyushu City, Japan.

  1. The fifth joint study meeting on a free trade agreement (FTA) among China, Japan, and Korea will be held from June 27 to 28 in the City of Kitakyushu, Japan.
  2. Officials of the related ministries (including the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) etc. of Japan, the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Korea) and related experts of the industrial and academic fields from these three countries will attend the meeting.
  3. At this meeting, participants will exchange opinions on issues in the fields of service trade, investment and so on.

The first joint study meeting on a free trade agreement (FTA) among China, Japan, and Korea was held on May 6 and 7, 2010 in Seoul, Korea. The second meeting was held on September 1 to 3 in Tokyo, the third meeting was held on December 1 to 3 in Weihai, China and the fourth meeting was held from March 30 to April 1 in Korea.
