Special Business Fair for the Recovery of Disaster-Affected SMEs to be held in Miyagi and Tokyo
- Call for applications for the first round in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture -
The Small and Medium Enterprise Agency will organize a “Special Business Fair for the Recovery of Disaster-Affected SMEs” to assist small and medium enterprises (SMEs) affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake in securing new customers. SMEs that have facilities such as factories in the disaster-stricken areas are eligible for the event.
Applications for the first round are accepted from Monday, August 1 to Friday, August 12.
We would appreciate your understanding that the number of companies that can participate in the Fair is limited.

Place: Sendai Sunplaza Hall (5-11-1 Tsutsujigaoka, Miyagino-ku, Sendai-shi, Miyagi) - (2) Second round
Date: Tuesday, November 29, 13:00-17:30 (planned)
Place: Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center (1-7-8 Kaigan, Minato-ku, Tokyo)
2. Eligibility and capacity
- (1) Sourcing companies (about 80 firms accepted)

Sourcing companies wishing to find new suppliers or subcontract manufacturers of industrial products in the prefectures of Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Fukushima, Ibaraki, Tochigi or Chiba
- (2) Suppliers (about 250 firms accepted)

Subcontracting SMEs operating factories in the prefectures of Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Fukushima, Ibaraki, Tochigi or Chiba
