Exchange of Diplomatic Notes concerning the Entry into Force of the Agreement between Japan and the Republic of Peru for an Economic Partnership
The Agreement between Japan and the Republic of Peru for an Economic Partnership will enter into force on Thursday, March 1.
- The exchange of diplomatic notes concerning the entry into force of the Agreement between Japan and the Republic of Peru for an Economic Partnership took place in Lima, Republic of Peru, on Tuesday, January 23 (January 24, Japan time). With this exchange of notes, the Agreement will enter into force on Thursday, March 1.
- This Agreement promotes liberalization and facilitation of trade in goods and services between Japan and the Republic of Peru, thereby enhancing bilateral partnership regarding economic activities, while also strengthening cooperation in various areas including competition and intellectual property.
- It is expected that the entry into force of the Agreement will greatly invigorate both economies and further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
