The second Cool Japan Conference (for Distribution Businesses, Developers and Commercial Facilities)-Supporting business matching for overseas expansion through collaboration between small and medium sized tenant enterprises and distribution businesses/commercial facilities-

In the emerging markets mainly in Asia, Japanese food, fashion, apparel, lifestyle goods, regional products, and etc. are now booming.

Japanese companies have been individually making efforts to expand their businesses overseas, but they have not gained substantial profits because they do not have a model focusing on "large profit" as systems including logistics, distribution businesses and commercial facilities.

In order to solve this problem, METI is holding a conference as an opportunity for small and medium sized tenant enterprises, such as businesses for food, fashion, apparel and lifestyle goods, and distribution businesses, logistics and enterprises as commercial centers to give presentations to each other so as to achieve business matching. After the presentations, these companies will decide on which target countries they will expand to while METI will support them in creating a consortium and their expansion.
