- Signing of the Japan-China-Korea Trilateral Investment Agreement
The "Agreement among the Government of Japan, the Government of the Republic of Korea and the Government of the People's Republic of China for the Promotion, Facilitation and Protection of Investment (the Japan-China-Korea Trilateral Investment Agreement)" was signed today by Japan, China and Korea.
- Today, in Beijing, Mr. Yukiko Edano, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (joined by Mr. Tsuyoshi Yamaguchi, Parliamentary Senior Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs), Mr. Bark Tae Ho, Minister for Trade of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea, and Mr. Chen Deming, Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, signed the Agreement among the Government of Japan, the Government of the Republic of Korea and the Government of the People's Republic of China for the Promotion, Facilitation and Protection of Investment (the Japan-China-Korea Trilateral Investment Agreement)."
- This agreement will improve investment between these countries and greatly contribute to their economic growth. This forms the first legal framework among these countries in the field of economy, which has not only economic but also political significance from the aspect of enhancing their relationships.
