1. The 16th round of negotiations for the Japan-Australia Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) will be held in Tokyo from Wednesday, June 13 to Friday, June 15.
2. The participants in the meeting will be: on the Japanese side, Mr. Shinichi Nishimiya, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and other officials from relevant Japanese ministries; and on the Australian side, Ms. Jan Adams, First Assistant Secretary, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and other officials from relevant departments of Australia.
3. Among the issues that will be discussed in the meeting are trade in goods and services, investment, energy and mineral resources, and food supply.
