METI will Hold a Symposium titled “Career Changes for Human Resources Who Develop Growth Fields, and Potential for New Growth in Business Development Utilizing Various Active Human Resources”-Leading Skillful and Experienced Human Resources to Play an Active Role in Growing Industries-
In recent years, growing industries have been changing as economic and industrial structures have changed. Under such circumstances, utilizing human resources who have a variety of skills and experience may have the great potential to develop new growth in such industries.
Considering such potential, METI has decided to hold a symposium to share opinions from experts and people involved in related businesses. In the symposium, such people will discuss career changes, measures to recruit and utilize human resources who have changed careers, and possible efforts that could lift business to growth toward new business development. METI is looking forward to seeing you there.
1. Objective of the symposium
In recent years, various factors, such as economic globalization as well as the low birthrate and aging population, have dramatically changed not only economic, industrial and social structures, but also industries that are expected to grow greatly in the future. Under such circumstances, human resources who have various skills and experience are considered to have great potential to promote new growth in companies as well as to develop their personal careers by utilizing their successful career changes to new growth fields, such as health care, environment and energy, and global issues.
To explore such potential, METI will hold a symposium to share opinions from experts and people involved in related businesses. In the symposium, such people will exchange views on the creation of social environments, companies' measures to recruit and utilize human resources, personal-based awareness-rising, and ideal re-education, which are necessary for smooth career changes for such human resources and companies' cultivation of new business potential. METI is looking forward to seeing you there.
