2. Your ID card with a photo (driver's license, employee ID card, passport, etc.)

1. If you wish to attend the meeting, please send an email for registration to the contact person (Mr. Kanazawa), Bio-Industry Division, METI, by 10:00 am, Monday, March 11, 2013, including your name, your position, and the fact that you would like to attend the "Explanatory Meeting on the Revision to the Ethical Guidelines for Analytical Research on the Human Genome/Genes." Your registration is acceptable only by email to:

   If you would like to take photographs at the meeting, please let us know when sending an email for registration.
2. Registrations will be accepted at METI, MEXT and MHLW, and the meeting capacity is about 150 people. Please refrain from registering two or more persons from one enterprise or organization. Participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis if the number of applications exceeds capacity.
3. Please note the following points when attending the meeting:
   1. Bring a copy of this press release and your ID card with a photo (driver's license, employee ID card, etc.)
   2. Photographs may only be taken at the beginning of the meeting. We would also like to request you to follow the directions of the Secretariat.

The meeting is jointly held by METI, MEXT, and MHLW.
