The Second LNG Producer-Consumer Conference to be held -The LNG market: Paradigm shift and growth-

The environment surrounding LNG has been undergoing dramatic changes in recent years, especially in the Asia-Pacific region, and LNG business transactions are anticipated to increase in the future.

The First LNG Producer-Consumer Conference held last September had over 600 participants, including five ministers. Among the topics discussed were the current status and challenges of the LNG market in the context of the ongoing paradigm shift in the market demonstrated by the expansion of natural gas production in North America and increases in demand in Asia.

In light of the current changes seen in the LNG market and the growing importance of appropriate growth and development of the market into the future, the Second LNG Producer-Consumer Conference will be held on September 10, 2013. The latest trends of both producers and consumers in the LNG market will be shared, and in-depth discussions will be conducted to promote the further growth of the market with a view to securing stability and transparency in the market.
