Launching of a Website, “Mieru ☆ Hint (Visible Hints)” on Success and Failure Cases of SMEs and Mid-ranking Companies- Visualization of “Keys to success” for SMEs and mid-ranking companies -

As part of the initiative to visualize growth strategies and assist SMEs and mid-ranking companies to expand, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) launched a website titled “Mieru ☆ Hint (Visible Hints),” in which it has compiled specific examples of keys to success that enabled 200 companies to grow significantly.

1. Visualization of growth strategies

In order to spread the positive effects of Abenomics all over the country and realize the future growth potential of Japan, it is essential for the SMEs and mid-ranking companies that support and lead local communities to absorb and adopt successful growth strategies so that they can bet plan the process of business expansion.

Therefore, METI has been making efforts towards the visualization of growth strategies so that motivated SMEs and mid-ranking companies can better plan specific efforts for their own growth.

2. Launching of “Mieru ☆ Hint (Visible Hints)”

METI launched the website “Mieru ☆ Hint (Visible Hints) – Keys to success, avoiding traps –,” in which specific cases of success and failures among 200 SMEs and mid-ranking companies were compiled, as a part of the visualization of growth strategies, on July 13, 2015. This website is available to the public.

On the website “Mieru ☆ Hint (Visible Hints) – Keys to success, avoiding traps –,” success and failure cases in SMEs and mid-ranking companies have been organized, analyzed, and compiled into “keys to making rapid progress” and “traps that are easy to be caught in,” so that enterprises can easily find hints for seizing significant growth opportunities.
