The Tenth Japan-China-Korea Cultural Content Industry Forum to be Held

On June 28 (Wed.) and 29 (Thur.), 2017, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) will hold the Tenth Japan-China-Korea Cultural Content Industry Forum at Tokyo Big Sight. In collaboration with Content Tokyo 2017, Japan’s largest exhibition for comprehensive content business, Japan will host the forum consisting of an inter-government conference as well as a booth-based joint exhibition and business matching event, and several other events, bringing together vice-minister-level officials of the governments and representatives from approximately 50 companies of Japan, China and the Republic of Korea (ROK).

1. Summary of the forum

The Japan-China-Korea Cultural Content Industry Forum brings together people from the public and private sectors related to the content industries in Japan, China and the ROK. As an international conference since its inauguration in 2002, it aims to provide continuous opportunities for participants to exchange information on the policies of and trends in the field of content and to create opportunities for developing business among industries in these countries. In collaboration with Content Tokyo 2017, Japan’s largest exhibition for comprehensive content business, Japan will host the tenth forum in 2017, consisting of an inter-government conference as well as a joint booth-based joint exhibition and business matching event, and several other events, bringing together vice-minister-level officials of the governments and representatives from approximately 50 companies from these three countries.
