US-Japan ICS (Industrial Control System) Cybersecurity Joint Training First time in Japan

ICSCoE (Industrial Cyber Security Center of Excellence) (※) invited the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the ICS-CERT Training team to conduct ICS cybersecurity joint training from 19th (Tue) to 26th (Tue) Sep at ICSCoE, Tokyo.

ICS-CERT provided a four-day ICS cybersecurity training session for ICSCoE students and a two-day session for trainers. This is the first such training conducted by DHS/ICS-CERT in Japan.

In addition, METI, IPA and DHS/ICS-CERT confirmed our continued cooperation in cybersecurity.

※METI and IPA established ICSCoE with public-private partnership to develop core human resources for cybersecurity on Japanese critical infrastructures and industries in this April 2017.
