The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Energy Ministers' Meeting (EMM) will be held from Friday, June 18 to Sunday, June 20 in Fukui City (at Hotel Fujita Fukui).
The Energy Ministers' Meeting is aimed at bringing together energy ministers of the Asia-Pacific region, where energy demand and carbon dioxide emissions are expected to increase more rapidly than in any other part of the world, to discuss energy security, energy policies for the effective and clean use of limited natural resources, and the promotion of the deployment of low carbon emission energies, under the main theme of “Low Carbon Path to Energy Security.”
