The Third Joint Study for an FTA among China, Japan, and Korea
The third joint study meeting on a free trade agreement (FTA) among China, Japan, and Korea was held from December 1 (Wednesday) to 3 (Friday) in Weihai, China.
- The third joint study meeting on an FTA among China, Japan, and Korea was held from December 1 (Wednesday) to 3 (Friday) in Weihai, China.
- Relevant individuals from the Japanese government, industry and academia will attend, including Mr. Takehiro Kagawa, Deputy Director-General, Economic Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Kazuhiko Koguchi, Deputy Director-General, Customs and Tariff Bureau, Ministry of Finance; Mr. Kazuo Haraguchi, Deputy Director-General for Environment and International Affairs, Minister's Secretariat, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries; and Mr. Keisuke Sadamori, Deputy Director-General for Trade Policy, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. They were joined by Mr. Sun Yuanjiang, Deputy Director-General, Department of International Trade and Economic Affairs, Ministry of Commerce of China and Mr. LEE Yun Young, Deputy Director-General, FTA Policy Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Korea.
- At this meeting, participants exchanged opinions on issues such as investment and services, etc.
- The next meeting is scheduled for next March or April.

The first joint study meeting on a free trade agreement (FTA) among China, Japan, and Korea was held on May 6 and 7, 2010 in Seoul. The second meeting was held on September 1 to 3 in Tokyo.
