The 2006 Report on the WTO Inconsistency of Trade Policies by Major Trading Partners has been adopted on April 11 by the Subcommittee on Unfair Trade Policies and Measures (Chairman: Mitsuo MATSUSHITA, Professor of Law, Seikei University) of the Industrial Structure Council.

In response to the report, METI has released “METI Priorities on WTO Inconsistent Foreign Trade Policies” (“METI Priorities”) , containing items and related actions deemed to be of a high priority in implementing future trade policies.
