As for the supply shortages of oil products such as gasoline, light oil, and kerosene, METI deeply regrets the discomfort and worry imposed upon residents in the Tohoku and Kanto regions.
METI is making the utmost efforts to secure stable supplies of those products by implementing emergency measures to ensure supply lines and establish an expanded distribution network.
Thus we would appreciate your cooperation and ask you to please refrain from purchasing non-urgent gasoline, light oil and kerosene unnecessarily.
