Super Creators were Certified under the MITOH Program- Certification of outstanding young IT human resources that create new added value -
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has been promoting the discovery and development of human resources that have outstanding IT abilities in order to create new added value for economic society through technological innovations in the IT field. As a part of this, METI has been involved in the MITOH Program (Exploratory IT Human Resources Project) through the Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan (IPA). In this program, persons possessing outstanding capabilities among those who have completed the program are certified as Super Creators. Seven persons aged between 15 and 24 were certified in 2015 also. A certificate presentation ceremony will be held in Tokyo, and also a networking event for those who intend to continuously support the MITOH Program will be held jointly with IPA.
1. Outline
The MITOH Program (Exploratory IT Human Resources Project) has been operated as a program that discovers and develops “outstanding IT human resources” since FY 2000, resulting in the production of 1,602 Creators by FY 2013. Among the Creators, those who have been recognized as possessing outstanding capabilities are certified as Super Creators, and 265 such persons have been certified.
A program completion ceremony for the 25 Creators selected in FY 2014 and a certificate presentation ceremony for the seven Super Creators will be held. Also, a networking event for the Super Creators and those who intend to continuously support the MITOH Program will be held.
2. Certified Super Creators
Seven persons who created pieces of work that enriched people’s lives by adding their inspiration to “things” around them in their daily lives were selected as Super Creators in FY 2014.

3. Certificate presentation ceremony and networking event
- Date:
- June 27 (Sat.), 2015
- The networking event starts at 14:00 and ends at 15:00.
- The program completion ceremony including the certificate giving ceremony for Super Creators starts at 15:30 and ends at 17:30.
- Venue:
- Main conference room FUYO on the first floor of Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku, 2-3-1 Yoyogi, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo
- Candidates:
- Those who intend to continuously support the MITOH Program including supporters of entrepreneurs such as representatives of startup accelerators and venture capital (VC) firms, and new technology developers from companies.

- Free (Registration in advance is required.)
