METI to Hold Japan Healthcare Business Contest 2019

For the purpose of establishing a foundation that will encourage sustainable growth of the healthcare business, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has been conducting the Japan Healthcare Business Contest program. This contest aims to recognize outstanding companies and entities taking on solutions to societal challenges in the field of healthcare so as to raise social awareness of such outstanding companies and also to encourage them to facilitate their self-sustaining growth through business matching with other businesses.

METI will hold the Fourth Japan Healthcare Business Contest 2019 on January 30 (Wed.), 2019.

In the 2019 contest, METI will establish a new category called “Idea Contest” aiming to uncover potential industrial players as new entries into the healthcare business.
