The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) created PR videos to show the current status of the reconstruction of the Soso District (Hamadori District) in Fukushima, which sustained especially significant damage due to the Great East Japan Earthquake and the subsequent accident at Tokyo Electric Power Company's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. The videos are made available on METI’s website introducing measures to support reconstruction of Fukushima.
On March 8, 2019, METI released eight newly created videos to convey the current situation of the reconstruction of Fukushima, including information on business operators embarking on new business in the Hamadori District, pioneering school educational programs and reconstruction of the fisheries industry.
