Tour for Visiting Industrial Sites for Business Establishment under the Fukushima Innovation Coast Scheme to be Held

Fukushima Prefecture, the Foundation for the Promotion of the Fukushima Innovation Coast Scheme, and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) will hold a Tour for Visiting Sites for Business Establishment under the Fukushima Innovation Coast Scheme.

The tour aims to highlight industrial sites, daily living environments, Japan’s high quality support measures for businesses in 15 cities, towns and villages, such as the Hamadori area, Fukushima Prefecture, in which reconstruction efforts are advancing and the environments for establishing businesses are dramatically improving.

1. Date

Two-day and one-night tour
Note: Participants are required to meet at and leave from the predetermined locations. The secretariat will make reservations for accommodations.
First round of tour: May 21 (Tue.) and 22 (Wed.), 2019
Second round of tour: Around February 2020 (tentative)

2. Target sites and how to apply

Participants will tour industrial sites, commercial facilities, educational or medical care institutes and a variety of facilities that are expected to contribute to industries and other sites in 15 cities, towns and villages, such as the Hamadori area, Fukushima Prefecture. For more information on these target sites, please see the Appendix.
