In FY2013, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) held the Global Niche Top Companies Selection 100 program (GNT Companies Selection 100) and selected and recognized 100 outstanding global niche companies playing a leading role worldwide under the program. As five years have passed since then and market environments are changing, METI conducted a follow-up survey targeting global niche top companies in FY2018 and hereby announces the results of the survey.
