The Visual Industry Promotion Organization (VIPO) opened a call for applicants for the indirect subsidy project involving the creation of highly advanced content that takes advantage of digital technology, which is part of the Japan Content Localization and Distribution (J-LOD) Subsidy Project under the FY2018 Secondary Supplementary Budget. In response, the examination committee of outside experts examined the applications VIPO received, and based on the examination results, VIPO decided to adopt eight projects.
