Japan Healthcare Business Contest 2020 to be Held

For the purpose of establishing a foundation that will encourage sustainable growth of the healthcare business, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has been conducting the Japan Healthcare Business Contest program. This contest aims to recognize outstanding companies and entities taking on solutions to societal challenges in the field of healthcare so as to raise social awareness of such outstanding companies and also to encourage and facilitate their self-sustained growth through business matching activities.

METI will hold the Fifth Japan Healthcare Business Contest 2020 on January 23 (Thur.), 2020.

1. Outline of the event

Title: Japan Healthcare Business Contest 2020
Date and time: January 23 (Thur.), 2020; from 13:00 to 20:00 (doors will open at 12:30)
Venue: Muromachi Mitsui Hall & Conference (3rd floor of Nihonbashi Muromachi Mitsui Tower; 3-2-1 Nihonbashi Muromachi, Chuo Ward, Tokyo)

Note: Please note that participants will be selected by lottery if the number of applicants exceeds the maximum capacity of the venue. The secretariat of the event will send you the results of the application, i.e., whether or not you can attend the event, by around January 17 (Fri.), 2020.

15:55-16:10: Presentation by the 2019 Grand Prix winner

16:10-17:00: Panel discussion by the Grand Prix winners of the past contests
