First Steps in Asia DX Program – Meet Ups with Upcoming Indonesian Companies

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) provides an occasion for promoting innovative collaboration with emerging Indonesian companies, as its first step in the Asia Digital Transformation (Asia DX) (*) initiative, together with JETRO and Keidanren.

The Japanese government is promoting the creation of new business through collaboration with companies in emerging countries under the “Asia DX Project” initiative.

1. Date and time

These are 10 promising companies from Indonesia carefully selected by the governmental body for creating next-generation unicorns in Indonesia: Next Indonesia Unicorn (NEXTICORN).

Networking event with emerging companies in Indonesia will be held (* with lunch).

Individual-based business matching meetings: 13:30 – 17:00
 Business matching meetings with emerging Indonesian companies will be held (* application is required in advance).

* English-Japanese consecutive interpretation available.
* Meeting time per company is scheduled to be 40 minutes.
* Based on the information registered in advance, JETRO will implement matching after making arrangements with the startup. Please note that we may not be able to fulfill all your requests.
* Business meeting appointments with companies will be notified by around February 20 (Thur.), 2020, following arrangements made with JETRO after the deadline. JETRO officials will also be present at each booth during business meetings.
