The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) hereby announces the information on the consultation counters for the Subsidy Program for Sustaining Businesses as below.
Information on the consultation counters for the Subsidy Program for Sustaining Businesses
Today, May 1 (Fri.), 2020, METI started acceptance of requests for the Subsidy Program for Sustaining Businesses and opened a call center exclusively for the program. In addition to the ongoing provision of telephone consultation services, METI will also start new services using its LINE account.
As the telephone lines of the call center are expected to become very busy, please make use of METI website, the secretariat’s website and the LINE account as well.
Service hours: From 8:30 to 19:00
(Every day in May and June 2020; every day except Saturdays from July to December 2020)

Closing of the conventional telephone consultation counters
In response to the opening of the call center, the telephone consultation counters of the Regional Bureaus of Economy, Trade and Industry, at which requests for consultation about the program have been accepted, will be integrated into the call center. Please note that these telephone consultation counters will no longer be operational.
The SME Financial and Subsidy Consultation Counter will continue to be available. However, please note that its name will change to the “SME Financial Consultation Counter” and it will no longer accept requests for consultation on the Subsidy Program for Sustaining Businesses.
