Sites for Supporting Filing Requests for the Subsidy Program for Sustaining Businesses to Open

May 11, 2020

Aiming to support businesses which are facing difficulties in electronically filing a request for the Subsidy Program for Sustaining Businesses by themselves, on May 12 (Tue.), 2020, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) will start opening physical sites called “Sites for Supporting Filing Requests” in sequence. From the viewpoint of preventing expansion of the novel coronavirus disease, METI requires all businesses wishing to make use of the sites to complete prior registration.

1. Sites for Supporting Filing Requests

For the program, METI will accept electronically filed requests in principle. However, aiming to support businesses which are facing difficulties in electronically filing a request for the program by themselves, on May 12 (Tue.), 2020, METI will start opening Sites for Supporting Filing Requests.

At these sites, personnel in charge will support businesses in electronically filing a request for the program. If you wish to make use of such site, please bring copies of necessary documents, or original documents, if possible, with you to the site.

With the goal of preventing the expansion of the novel coronavirus disease, METI requires all businesses wishing to make use of the sites to register in advance. Please note that no businesses are able to receive support services at the sites without registering in advance.

For details of how to register in advance, see Item 4 “How to register in advance” below.
