On June 19 (Fri.), 2020, Mr. Kajiyama Hiroshi, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Phil Hogan, European Commissioner for Trade, via video conference.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed that Japan and the EU, which share basic values, consider it important to continue cooperating in a wide variety of fields in order to overcome the crisis caused by the novel coronavirus disease.
