Call for Applicants for Participating Companies in “Fukushima Mirai Business Networking Event 2020 in J-Village”

- Initiative under the Fukushima Innovation Coast Scheme-

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) will hold a business matching event in J-Village, Fukushima Prefecture. The event aims to create networking opportunities between companies that intend to establish a new location or those that have been advancing or are planning to conduct research and development and other initiatives in the Hama-Dori area and other areas in Fukushima Prefecture, which are subject to the Fukushima Innovation Coast Scheme, (hereinafter “target areas”), and local companies running business in such areas. METI hopes that many companies seeking new business partners,  new seeds of business growth, or new sources of demand, will participate in the event.

1. Date

Networking event at the site: November 19 (Thur.), 2020; from 13:30 to 17:00 (reception counter will open at 13:00)

Online business meetings: November 26 (Thur.), 2020; from 10:00 to 15:00 (tentative)

Organizers: The Foundation for the Promotion of the Fukushima Innovation Coast Scheme and the Fukushima Soso Reconstruction Corporation

Supporters: Hirono Town, Naraha Town, the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, JAPAN, the Hirono Town Society of Commerce and Industry, the Naraha Town Society of Commerce and Industry, the Fukushima Association of City Mayors, the Assembly of Towns and Villages in Fukushima Prefecture, the Fukushima Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and the Fukushima Federation of Societies of Commerce and Industry
