On November 5, 2020, the 13th Japan-China-ROK Trilateral Cultural Content Industry Forum was held and a joint statement was issued.

Summary of the forum

On November 5 (Thur.), 2020, the 13th Japan-China-ROK Trilateral Cultural Content Industry Forum was held via video conference. As a representative of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Mr. Ogasawara Yoichi, Deputy Director-General for IT Strategy, attended the forum.

At this forum, participants held discussions on impacts of COVID-19 on the content industry in each country and roles of digital contents in the world with and after COVID-19.

Following the end of the forum, a “Joint Statement of the 13th Trilateral Cultural Content Industry Forum” was issued.
