Japan-Pakistan Government Business Joint Dialogue Monitoring Committee Meeting Held

On November 26 (Thu.), 2020, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan and the Ministry of Commerce of Pakistan held a meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the Japan-Pakistan Government Business Joint Dialogue via videoconference.
The participants in this meeting were: from Japan, METI, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Embassy of Japan in Pakistan, the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), and Japanese companies with offices in Pakistan; and from Pakistan, the Ministry of Commerce, the Board of Investment, the Federal Board of Revenue, the Engineering Development Board, the Pakistan Embassy in Japan, and the State Bank of Pakistan. They discussed various topics regarding how to improve the business environment in Pakistan.
