Minister Kajiyama Holds Meeting with H.E. Mr. Sardor Umurzakov, Deputy Prime-Minister and Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On December 14 (Mon.), 2020, Mr. Kajiyama Hiroshi, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Sardor Umurzakov, Deputy Prime-Minister and Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the two sides exchanged views on future economic ties between Japan and Uzbekistan.
Outline of the meeting
On December 14 (Mon.), 2020, Minister Kajiyama held a face-to-face meeting with Deputy Prime-Minister Umurzakov, Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the progress in Japan-Uzbekistan business projects and other issues in light of President Mirziyoyev’s first visit to Japan in December 2019, and they confirmed that Japan and Uzbekistan will further enrich economic ties and exchange.
