Report on New Energy Efficiency Standards for Television Sets Compiled

A working group on energy efficiency standards (*1), a body established under the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy (ANRE), compiled the “Report on New Energy Efficiency Standards for Television Sets.”

Concerning new standards for energy consumption efficiency (energy efficiency standards) for television sets under the Act on the Rational Use of Energy (Act No. 49 of 1979), a working group on energy efficiency standards established under ANRE has been holding discussions since January 2019. On February 16, 2021, the working group compiled a report titled “Report on New Energy Efficiency Standards for Television Sets” (*2) following the results of its meeting held on January 29, 2021.
