March 5, 2021

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism (MLIT) will jointly inaugurate a new body called the “Study Group on Automobile Policies for Carbon Neutrality” in order to hold interviews with related industrial players for revising the action plans (in the automobile, storage battery and other industries) of the Green Growth Strategy. The group will hold its first meeting on March 8 (Mon.), 2021.
