Winners of New Diversity Management Selection 100 and Diversity Management Selection 100 Prime in FY2020

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) selected 14 outstanding enterprises under the New Diversity Management Selection 100 Program for their commitment to efforts for empowering diverse human resources to the greatest extent possible and leading such efforts to achievement of business management. METI also selected two particularly progressive enterprises engaging in efforts for diversity management under the Diversity Management Selection 100 Prime program.

Since the inauguration of the New Diversity Management Selection 100 program in FY2012 to expand the base on which enterprises will engage in such management, METI has been recognizing outstanding enterprises committed to efforts for empowering diverse human resources and leading such efforts to achievement of business management.

In addition, under the Diversity Management Selection 100 Prime program, METI has been selecting particularly progressive enterprises engaging in pioneering efforts for diversity management. Those selected are enterprises that have already been recognized under the existing programs and that still strive for diversity management under the Diversity 2.0 program from the mid- to long-term perspective.

On March 22, 2021, METI selected 14 winners of the FY2020 New Diversity Management Selection 100 from 72 applicants and two winners of the Diversity Management Selection 100 Prime from 11 applicants. For a list of the winners, see the Appendix.

As an alternative to holding a commendation ceremony, METI will post the following contents on its website this fiscal year.

Contents to be posted

This fiscal year is the final year of the FY2020 New Diversity Management Selection 100 program. However, METI will continue to promote further dissemination of diversity management. Details of these efforts can be found in the above video clips posted on the following site.
