On April 8, 2021, Mr. Kajiyama Hiroshi, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry held a telephone conference with H.E. Ms. Gina Raimondo, Secretary of Commerce of the United States.
Minister Kajiyama expressed his congratulations on Secretary Raimondo’s confirmation. Minister Kajiyama and Secretary Raimondo also exchanged a wide range of views on the Japan-U.S. economic relationship moving forward, including cooperation on export controls, semiconductor supply chains, energy and climate change.
