Minister Hagiuda Receives a Courtesy Call from Dr. Patricia Flor, Ambassador of the European Union to Japan

On February 9, 2022, Mr. Hagiuda Koichi, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry received a courtesy call from Dr. Patricia Flor, Ambassador of the European Union to Japan.
METI Minister Hagiuda Koichi received a courtesy call from Dr. Patricia Flor, Ambassador of the European Union to Japan. The two agreed the importance of strengthening their cooperation in various fields between the EU and Japan, which share fundamental values and principles, and also agreed to proceed with the cooperation between the EU and Japan.
Based on the request from the EU on diverting LNG to Europe, Minister Hagiuda communicated to Ambassador Flor that as long as the stable supply to Japan is ensured, Japan will cooperate to the degree possible.
