Basic Plan Formulated for the Japan Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan

METI has formulated a basic plan for the Japan Pavilion exhibition at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
1. Overview
METI will exhibit the Japanese Government Pavilion (Japan Pavilion) at the 2025 World Exposition in Japan (Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan). It has formulated the Japanese Government Exhibition Project (Japan Pavilion) Basic Plan, which includes the ideal visitor experience and the concept for the exhibition. The plan is based on the basic concepts for the Japan Pavilion decided in April 2021 and the results of this fiscal year's Meeting to Discuss the Japanese Government Exhibition Project for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
2. Outline of the Japan Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai
In the Japan Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, the Japanese Government as the host will hold presentations on the expo's theme, "Designing Future Society for Our Lives." The Pavilion provides an opportunity for visitors and those involved in the Japan Pavilion to gain awareness as future creators.
3. Future Schedule
Based on the Japan Pavilion Basic Plan just formulated, METI will examine the exhibition's actual content and other factors from next fiscal year onward.
The Meeting to Discuss the Japanese Government Exhibition Project for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai was held during FY2021 to examine the Japan Pavilion's specific content. Eight experts participated.
