On April 21, Mr. Hagiuda Koichi, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with Mr. Supattanapong Punmeechaow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, Thailand , and exchanged a wide range of views on bilateral relations, ASIA-Japan Investing for the Future Initiative, energy transitions, and other issues.
Outline of the meeting
On April 21 (Thu.), 2022, Minister Hagiuda held a meeting with Mr. Supattanapong Punmeechaow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, Thailand.
At the meeting, the ministers exchanged various views on deepening the economic relationship between the two countries, including concrete investment support measures based on the "ASIA-Japan Investing for the Future Initiative" announced in January this year, and cooperation in realistic energy transitions toward carbon neutrality in Thailand.
