Minister Nishimura Receives a Courtesy Call from Ambassador Paquet, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Japan

On Tuesday, October 4, Mr. Nishimura Yasutoshi, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry received a courtesy call from Ambassador Jean-Eric Paquet, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Japan.

On Tuesday, October 4, METI Minister Nishimura received a courtesy call from Ambassador Jean-Eric Paquet, Head of the Delegation of the EU to Japan.
They agreed that Japan and the EU, as strategically important partners who share fundamental values and promote free trade together, will continue to strengthen their cooperation in various fields.
They also confirmed that they will cooperate in preparation for next year's G7, which Japan will chair.
