At the policy dialogue, there were explanations of the latest smart industrial safety measures and other efforts from both countries and an exchange of views on regulatory concepts based on technological advancements, the importance of incentive systems, and the challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) regarding Smart Industrial Safety.
The two sides reaffirmed that they will continue cooperation between Japan and Thailand to exchange information on technology and policy trends in the field of Smart Industrial Safety.
Note: Signed at the director-general level between the governments of Japan and Thailand in June 2018 with the aim of increasing the safety and effectivity of plants and other facilities in Thailand through the use of AI, IoT, and other technologies.
