On Thursday, February 2, Minister Nishimura received a courtesy call from the Honorable Sibi George, Ambassador of India to Japan.
On Thursday, February 2, Minister Nishimura received a courtesy call from the Honorable Sibi George, Ambassador of India to Japan.
They welcomed the progress made so far in Japan-India cooperation in the economic field, including the "Japan-India Special Strategic and Global Partnership," and exchanged views on efforts to realize JPY 5 trillion of public and private investment and financing from Japan to India in the next five years.
They also confirmed to continue working together in view of Japan and India’s respective presidencies of the G7 and G20 this year.
