Minister Nishimura Receives a Courtesy Call from a Delegation of the U.S. Congressional Study Group on Japan

On February 22 (Wed.), Mr. Nishimura Yasutoshi, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, received a courtesy call from a delegation of the U.S. Congressional Study Group on Japan.
On February 22 (Wed.), Mr. Nishimura Yasutoshi, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, received a courtesy call from a delegation of the U.S. Congressional Study Group on Japan from the House of Representatives (Congressman Ami Bera, Congresswoman Diana DeGette, Congressman Larry Bucshon, Congressman Ted Lieu, Congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan, Congressman Guy Reschenthaler and Congresswoman Kathy Manning).
Confirming the importance of Japan-US cooperation, Minister Nishimura and the delegation members exchanged views on issues of mutual interest particularly related to the economy and energy, including the Inflation Reduction Act passed by the U.S. Congress last summer. Minister Nishimura expressed his expectations for continuous support from the U.S. Congress for the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
